 It was our first time in the Santa Cruz area and we’re so glad we found this gem! You just cannot beat the location. Just minutes to hikes, the beach and not to mention their private river beach area is the highlight. We loved reading and hanging out on the property down by the river - we were even greeted by a sweet cat that ended up being our little friend the entire weekend. Emkay was extremely generous and friendly, and the cabin itself was perfect. I’m a super host myself so I know a good Airbnb experience when I see one!

 Just a charming little compound Emkay has created. Property is set up to feel welcoming and easy to navigate. Will definitely be back to Soquel as it’s such an easy drive from SF. This cabin has you in the redwoods enjoying peacefulness. Then drive 20 min. You are on the beach !! With the Santa Cruz boardwalk! Soquel is also a great find! Highly recommend this weekend getaway.

 Emkay and Laura were fantastic, and the cabin was lovely. Boards and umbrellas were provided at no charge, and they were helpful with localsuggestions. The stay was perfect before they left a special surprise at the end. The special surprise was the cherry on top!!!!! Highly recommend....

 This cabin is EVERYTHING. It is cozy, amazing amenities, and the bed is soooo comfortable. Emkay and Lara left clear instructions on how to get to this amazing hidden gem, and when we got there we felt immediately peaceful and at home. It is set against a little river that babbles all day and night, it is secluded, private, and perfect for when you want to visit the Santa Cruz area but don’t want to stay in the city. I had the pleasure of meeting Emkay while I was staying there and he was so polite and lovely and offered to assist us with anything we might need. Our neighbors in the neighboring cabin were also so lovely. Our trip to Santa Cruz was amazing and this spot made it a 10/10!!

 Emkay and Lara were great hosts! I loved the grounds. There's several cabins around, yet it's still so private, beautiful. Sleeping on a big, comfortable bed with the windows open, a cool breeze carrying the smell of the Jasmine vines, and the Redwood Trees... Incredible. They thought of everything from big fluffy towels and a little flashlight, to coffee supplies and a cold pack in the freezer. Emkay was excited to help me out with an extensive list of ideas of things to do & see in the area. I'm so greatful for all the help. I'm really looking forward to my next trip already.

 This place is absolutely beautiful. The hosts are the nicest most relaxed people I’ve ever met. The description they give of the property is perfect because that property is absolutely gorgeous and private. The peaceful vibes and beautiful natural landscape is perfect. The creek that runs at the bottom of the property is stunning and feels like you are in a forest paradise. The cabin is the perfect size. It’s clean, makes you feel right at home, they supply it with the perfect amount of things to help out. The bed is soft, the sound of the running creek and rustling redwoods puts you right to sleep. It’s the perfect paradise and it was hard to leave. I will be staying there every chance I get. It’s well worth it.
